Free online guitar tuner for standard EADGBE tuning

Use this tuner before opening a chord sheet so every song starts in tune. It supports standard guitar tuning, Drop D, half step down, and D standard for beginner practice, Hindi songs, Bollywood chords, and English pop songs.

Step 1

Pick a tuning preset

Start with Standard for EADGBE. Use Drop D when a song needs a lower bass string, or half step down for songs recorded slightly lower.

Step 2

Play one string at a time

Pluck a single string clearly, let the tuner detect the note, then tighten or loosen slowly until the meter is centered.

Step 3

Retune after chords

After tuning all six strings, play G, C, D, Em, or the chords from your song page. If they sound rough, tune again gently.
